The Third Annual OptimisSport Distance Swim Challenge is a unique open-water endurance event on August 19, 2012 bringing together individuals, friends and teams of all ages and skill levels. This year, participants can choose to compete in one of our new Challenge Divisions: either the Youth Team/Club Challenge or the DELTA Wellness Challenge.
The 2012 OptimisSport Distance Swim Challenge offers a Kids Splash, a 500m Fun Swim and 7 distance events, including: 1.2-mile, 2.4-mile, 4.8-mile, 10k and 12.6-mile individual races, and a 4.8 or 12.6-mile relay. With multiple starting points between Manhattan Beach and Venice, all races finish in historical Venice Beach.
